FENG SHUI COLOR AND FENG SHUI OIL

Feng Shui Color Theory - Reflect Emotions

Color is an important feature of Feng Shui and is closely linked to the Theory of the Five Elements or energies; Wood, Metal, Fire, Water and Earth. These are not just elements, but aspects of Life, Characters, Emotions, Parts of the Body and Colors. Wood is associated with Green, metal with white, fire with red, water with blue and earth with yellow. Each of the colors, like each of the elements, has specific qualities, or foster certain qualities of life, personality and health. According to the Chinese philosophy, every person is born into one of the five elements so that everyone is influenced by one or other of the elements, and the color they choose, often intuitively, reflect this situation.

Good Feng Shui strives to achieve balance and harmony and color plays a major part in this process, aiming to support, boost or move the elemental flow of energy throughout the home. Individual colors too have symbolic significance and feng shui practitioners may suggest using colors to reflect that significance, or enhance possible goals. The color black, for instance signifies business success; red promotes luck, growth or happiness. The significance, however does not mean that the color should be used excessively. Sometimes just a touch may be enough to boost energy or bring that element into our home.

We can use various factors to match the Elements to the specific Essential Oils. The table below will help you to identify your essential oil to use as Feng Shui cures and enhancements. You can click on the chart to check their relationships to various aspects of Life. You can also check your personal element to see which essential oil best suit you.

CHINESE COLOR ELEMENTS OIL TYPE EMOTION

RED FIRE SPICY JOY
